About

In a move that could be described as the “reverse brain-drain,” Tom Marsh has twice relocated to from Chicago-land to Indiana: First, after high-school, to attend Ball State University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degreeĀ  while studying Telecommunications, Journalism, and History, and then again in 2002, this time to stay.

Starting in the Chicago area and continuing in Indianapolis, for the last 11 years Tom has devoted his career to a deep engagement with technology, making it accessible and useful to business-enterprises of all sizes. He began humbly, moving into progressively more complex and senior technical positions in a variety of corporate, small-business, and educational organizations. Today, he offers affordable, fair, and expert Information Technology services to small and mid-sized companies, non-profits, and educational institutions in Indianapolis and throughout Central Indiana.

Tom blends a mountain of real-world technical ability with interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills, the latter three placing him squarely among the top-tier of technical professionals in the region. He mixes a positive, can-do attitude with an earthy realism to establish a relationship that facilitates a frank and open discussion of both good and bad news.

A Chicago White Sox fan since the age of 18 when, as he says “Baseball fans either grow up or remain Cubs fans–not that there’s anything wrong with that!”–Tom currently resides in Indianapolis’ Castleton neighborhood and, between Colts & White Sox games, bike rides, and other adventures, is available for short or medium-term IT project consulting, and also to provide long-term managed IT services.
